OEM or AfterMarket Clutch.
I am not in desprate need of one, but I have the trans out so why not. So the queston is if you had the availability like I do to get OEM dealer parts @ cost, such as a cluch assembly, would you go with it or buy after market. I can get the entire set up not including flywheel for around $225.
You wrote in his other thread. The one titled "Stroke it or cam it?"... I will put in the stroker within the next year and half. I'm busy with class at work, but getting things together in the mean time.
Wow...boys please, stop fighting.. Lets settle this the way adults do.. Sue each other.
Back to stroking it....I have to I am married. But I was thinking that the 4.3 Chevy and the 3.8 were compatible.. Until Stang (I think) helped me to remember that the 4.3 is a Chevy and the 3.8 is a Buick. So Stroking it in the garage not in the shower is outta the question. So ya, its a basic 3.8, I may do headers, I am just hoping to get it back together. The G.M at where I work, his sister is the parts manager at a local Chevy dealer and can get me parts at cost. So, I think I'll get a replacement unit from her.
