I have an 94 camaro that has sat almost a full year because I didn't have the funds to fix it while at college. After saving some penny pinching I've finally come around to fixing it and everything is done, except the fuel pump. Which is kaput because the gas has varnished inside the filter and pump. The only logical thing is to buy another one. But that's where I'm stuck at, I don't know which one to buy. I called the local auto parts stores in my area, they all want around $200 for the whole pump assembly, but the Online stores of all those local part stores all want around $60 less or more for the same model pump. Without doubt the online is cheaper but is something missing from the online version to make it cheaper?

 

I have a 1994 3.4 Camaro and I bought my fuel pump from RockAuto.com. It was about $105 for the entire assembly. Shipping was fast too.

Does Brand matter? I really don't want it to fail after warranty.

That acdelco pump is just that. A pump. The one I gave you a like to is an entire fuel delivery system. You're better off getting the entire assembly rather than just te pump itself.
