its Auto, and i only test drove it haha because im gettings tags etc.. thursday is long enough, and that i found out the intake hoes thing slipped off the intake system im a little worried having to get a new one etc.. and prolonging it any further till i get to drive it hahah

 

It sounds like your car lost a metal crimp-band that encircles the rubber inlet between the air box and the throttle body. It's a solid metal clamp that gets crimped from the factory to tighten it. I'm not sure if you can buy the replacement clamp or not. You might have to do as you said and put a new zip-tie on it.

 

Ya thats what a friend told me.. hopefully discount auto has them in stock so I can go put one on. im gonna check tommorow.
