You reworked the heads, which means you had to have the plugs out, yet you blame the guy who worked on it before you owned it for the mistake. You never put plugs in without checking the gap, It would be so easy to have bumped them at any point during the head service.
How in the world did you get a PCM tune when the car is not running right? Was it a mail order tune?

Well I was taking someone's word on it. Guy I bought it from is one of the guys in my stunt group (street bikes)
So no I didnt check the gap on them when the heads were redone. I was thinking more along the lines that some of the exhaust valves were stuck.
I never thought it would be because of that.
And yes it was a mail order tune..
Got a ECM from a 00' 3.8 in the garage and im gunna redo the pinouts and what not so it will work with my car. And then have one of the guys in my club acually tune it.
Get it up on a dyno and all that good stuff..
Like I said I ****ed up because I didnt check the gap on the plugs..
But to make me sound less stupid my scapegoat was the shop for not doing so correctly
