I Have A 97 3.8 Convertable. With An Auto Transmission. My Question Was Does It Hurt The Tranny To Shift It Like A Manual When Shifting Up Gears? Like When I Do I Don't Go Pass About 3000 Rpms. And Then My Second Question Is. Is It Ok To Down Shift To Allow For Engine Braking When Slowing Down? Thanks=]

i can't see why a camaro tranny would be different from any other auto tranny in that you can shift down. i have done it in many vehicles and never had any problems.
