I have a 96 rs with a 3.8 and I have been having problems with my cooling system. First of all my car was overheating but got the thermostat replaced and that kinda solved the problem. I was driving the next day and watched my temp gauge slowly spike and wouldn't stay at a constant temp but then I turned on the heat to let engine cool down and it helped a little. What else could be the problem? Head gasket and water pump are still good and like i said got thermostat replaced and also the radiator cap. The one thing weird is that sometimes I have to turn the ac on to cool the engine off?? I know doesnt make sense..also I am finding my ac-cruise control fuse keeps popping and thought it was the ac compressor relay but that wasn't it. What can cause this fuse to pop? Bad compressor?? something with cruise control?? Someone please help me so I am not pouring money out to mechanics for this...oh and i forgot, system was completely flushed and had right amount of antifreeze in it..
