i just figured it would be a good idea, because to me the stock airbox seemed a little restricted. and how the inlet tube that runs to the throttle body is round and the filter itself is bigger. i thought maybe opening up the airbox, it would get better use out of the bigger square filter. since theres a (bigger) opening for air to come in.

ill keep it like this and drive it around for awhile to see if theres any difference. if not, then ill just get a new airbox and leave it stock. idk what possessed me to do this in the first place =/
