can someone tell me what rear end came stock in a 97 camaro rs

gears and what to call e rear end

Gears depend on if you have a M5 or A4. A4 had 2.73 stock, but the y87 package gave 3.42 irrc, as for the M5 I'm not sure what they came with. Rear end is the 10 bolt

5 speed would came with 3.23's if it had not been special ordered. The only way to be sure is RPO code or turn the tires and count the drive shaft rotations. The RS was cosmedic thing so it had no effect on the rear.
