Default 96 Brake upgrade

I am getting a little ahead of myself since I don't even have my motor back in yet but. I found a 2000 V-6 that is being parted out. He is selling stuff dirt cheap. Anyone know what all parts I would need to upgrade my brakes? 2000 V-6 the same brakes as the V-8?

Any one know of a write up by someone who has done it? I may not get the rear brakes cause I want a posi with disks. Although I am temped cause I think I could get the rear from this guy for 50 bucks.

not sure if v6 is the same as a v8 if it helps you at all i have a ls1 front brake upgrade on mine brakes are off a 01 v8 car it has dual piston aluminum calipers and 12in rotors to do the swap you need rotors calipers caliper bracket and i would take the monts to the caliper bracket not 100% sure about the monts same goes for the rear and you would need the e-brake cables as well

Sure. Either PM someone, or you might try posting your question in the 3rd Gen section, where I'm sure you'd get alot more help.

I am not seeing how these front rotors can fit. The spindle wraps around the rotor at the top with about .150 clearance. The rotor is 3/4" bigger. I will get some pics up.

Edit:
This picture show the priginal rotor still installed and the 12" rotor put on the lugs backwards.
