Default 95 3.8 V6 Fuel Pump Problems

About two months ago my camaro ran out of gas before I made it to the gas station. My fuel pump went bad so I replaced it. I only replaced the pump itself not the sending unit. It ran for about a day then it sat over night. I went to start it the next morning and it wouldnt start. I heard the fuel pump come on a couple times but now it wont come on at all. I replaced the relay to see if that was the problem but guess not. Thinking it may be the wiring to the pump but trying to see if anyone has an suggestions before I go about replacing that. Any input would be appreciated.

well you say you you onley replaced the pump it ran then the next day nothing,i do have some advice you need to drop the tank again its very posiable that you got a bad pump its happ to me a few times, you can drop the tank and test the pump if it dont work take it back and get a newone...ps,,all chevy,s are bad about the fuel pump going out and what alot of pep dont know is that some parts are rebuilt and sold at your local part store

DO NOT drop the tank use the hatch method. i can change a fuel pump in 30 min including cutting the hatch and resealing it

rain01 has a good point here fuel pumps are a complete gamble send a pm to craby hell tell you what pump is best (hes been through this before i just cant remember what pump hes using)

I wish there was more rebuilt GM pumps, These crappy imported jobs stick up the place. I am on my third Airtec in my 96 and it has a check valve issue.
