Yes, you will need the pistons out of the 3400 motor. Here's somewhat of a list of the parts required...

Off of a 3500: heads, and lower intake
Off of a 3400: upper intake, fuel rail, injectors, throttle body, and pistons
Off of a 3100: Push rods
You'll need a longer throttle cable and cruise control cable as the stock ones on the 3.4 will NOT be long enough to reach your new throttle body.
Also, you will need all new gaskets and a tune. For this mod, you MUST get a tune or your car will run like a golf cart.
