^I agree. Or if you want to keep your car and get some serious power, do a 3500 top end swap and cam it. That's what I'm planning on doing. I've seen this done and the cars that it was done to were making 225-275RWHP with a tune. That's better than a stock z28.

dont you have to change out the pistons as well with swap. i know i looked into the 3400 top end conversion when i still had my 3.4 in the car and that you need to change the pistons to make it work other wise the compression is to high.

If you are going to go from a 3.4 to a 3.8, it is the same process as going from any V6 to a V8. You will need an entire doner car. Just buy a 3.8L car it will be far cheaper and chances are, unless you are a very skilled mechanic it will be more relaible as well.
