97 Camaro won't rev over 2k in park
I have a 97 Camaro rs 3.8l automatic tranny been having a lot of problems with it has multiple misfires I lost my reverse and neutral I have to put it in reverseve shut my car off and push it backwards I have a whole new tranny and engine to put in if needed tranny is good but the guy said the engine ran like **** would it be easier to rebuild the other engine and drop it in with the tranny or what do I do this is my first Camaro it has t tops that don't leak and love this car just needs lots of work

you can pick up a series 3 3.8 with low miles for cheap. like 500 bucks. way less than a rebuild and you get about 20 more hp. sounds like you have something strange going on.
