If its auto, then don't worry about the E-break. I barely pulled on mine at the rear caliper, and the damn thing broke somewhere(popped lose under the body I'm sure). If it was a manual i would worry then.

Check coil wire etc for the no spark problem.

Some of them do that normally. Mine did for some time. If I pulled up straight like normal, it'd click click click wham all the way to the top. I figured out though that if I pulled it slightly towards myself as I was pulling it up it'd lock normally. Over the last year or so it corrected itself and operates as normal. Automatics can benefit from using the e-brake, especially on hills.

I say start the build thread now. It's nice to have one centralized thread where everything that's going on with the car is updated. Don't do my mistake and have threads all over the place. Only time I start a new thread is when I have a new issue that needs to be solved/fixed. Be sure to include a lot of pictures when you update, and maybe a video or two once you get her going (The car, not your girl)

Mine broke/popped lose when working on the rear end. I hardly pulled on the cable to re-hook it, and it pulled free. I'm just to lazy to want to crawl under it and find the problem.

It's not as touph as it seams. Really isn't bad. Youshould have it together in no time. Any suspension work isn't that tough. These suspensions are pretty easy to fix. Just PB Blast everything the night before.

Just found this thread.

Holy crap is this a big project!

What did somebody *do* to that car??? Drive into a high curb at about 30 mph? Wow!

And then it seems like it was nicely aged, just like a fine wine, LOL.

I thought I was starting a lose money project when I got my 94 V6 (and I was correct) but your GF's car is totally another order of magnitude.

Where's this project at now?
