Nope, just a rubber mount, I think, I'll double check tomorrow. I may take the shaft from the other car and see if it goes away. If so, I will be ordering an aluminum replacement.
As for tint, whatever factory was. I haven't added any.
I can pull it if I'm really feeling up to it. Been burned out the last few days. Pinion angle *should* be fine. Car isn't lowered but is raised a little with the newer springs and tires.

So guys, I'm running into an issue that I need help with. Bought new stainless headers, cause my old mild steel ones were getting rusty. It's been slow progress getting them in because I could only work on them a few hours at a time and I was doing other things to the car. Any ways, drivers side header primary for cylinder 5 is hitting the steering shaft preventing me from finishing this up. Any ideas on what I can do that preferably don't require removing the header?

could be the wrap its so close with mine we did pacesetter for lt1 ,it bearly rubbed a bit for about a week then stopped,i thought there supposed to make the set that is made for missing over there on drivers side for lt1 cars the steering shaft that is,ya that looks so much closer then mine looks like you cant even turn it at all ,mine is like 3/16ths now just enough to clear it an thats why the drivers side should look different with the bend to miss it mostly,i think there is a way to adjust the steering shaft or put a dent in the header, carefully grinding away the part that hits on the shaft too is an idea ,couse without the wrap it should be much closer ?are they long tubes

I dented the header, but before that I couldn't even connect the steering shaft without really forcing it and it'd rub too much. The primary tube sticks out much further than ones I took off. Doesn't really matter though, new headers and the car still isn't running right, it's got me to the point where I just want to either park it till I can tear it all back down or just sell it.
