It does, but loosely so it doesn't get enough of a grip to turn it. I thought about using a screw extractor but with the limited space, it's not happening. Plus, I'm not sure if I'd feel comfortable doing that to head.

if you have a old 3/8 sort extension, grind it down to fit.

Any time.

I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that, but I got a few lying around, so it won't hurt to modify one as long as I do it right the first time. Haha.

So I got the approval from my dad to come up with a build plan for the engine when I come home again for summer break which will give me more than enough time to save up for the engine and suspension stuff I want.

So this is what I've come up with so far:

Eagle Cast Steel crank, 3.48 stroke
Scat Pro Comp I Beam 4340 5.7 in (or maybe 6 in?)Rods
1.6 RR, still deciding on brand
stock heads ported/polished
cam is undecided

Now, this where I need help. I want to build a high compression (like 11.5-12:1) 355. I thought about doing a 383 instead, but that'd kill my gas mileage too much right now. But as far as the piston and head gasket goes, I'm at a loss with what piston to go with, the quench for the gasket, etc. The heads will be the stock heads, so 54 cc if I remember right. Any help would be appreciated guys!

So, I suppose I'll update this since it's been a while. I'm still working on my engine details, but I still need to finish redoing the front suspension, so I've been working on that.

Here's a pic of the front suspension stuff I have all ready. All lower control arm bushings, one side for the upper, both inner tie rods, both outer tie rods, upper and lower ball joints for both sides, all Moog parts.

What I still need need is the other side upper bushings, shock mount, shocks, springs, sway bar endlinks/bushings, wheel bearings, a bigger front sway bar, and strut tower brace and that'll have golden for the front.

Also, here's my new Walbro 255 fuel pump. Waiting on the old one to die so I can put this in.

Also, cleaned up that piece of stamped steel that connects on either side of the drive shaft.
How it was pulled out.

Nice update MK,
Can't wait for the update when you start installing all your goodies that you're picking up. That brace came out nice.
Keep up the goodwork.

I was interested in viewing the pics of your build, but this forum seems unfriendly to new registered members by not allowing them to view pics..

Anyhow, I'll check back later.. maybe i can view then.
