Yeah, photobucket just lost a lot of members. I'm not paying them money to post my own photos.

sometimes i like to remind myself where i came from 2 front ends an 2 engines an a straight car still better then before stronger faster 99.9% rust free near 11years now i have owned it .will be 23 next april back to the car ,did new plugs ,found out i had no real pcv valve back to paper gas filter there better then glass, going to do shocks front ball joints Aug ,got new panhard bar traction bars all with greace fitings car drives so much better should drive like new soon an handle nice ,then going to put the .cherry bombs in it for this year bump stops few other things rear end cover an fluid change ,next year cast aluminum valve covers comeing.

what a difference the pcv valve being hooked up right makes ,no problem with hot starts or cold an. just.runs so much better ,dont now why the installer stuck a piece plastic in my vacume line out to pcv then we put one it was not working couse he had it plugged up now it idles at 1000 rpms in park an about 700 in drive ,carbed cars need them more then fuel injection an the new plugs too,its no wonder they fouled out at like 5000k miles

They don't really need one but you can't just plug them up either, that crankcase pressure has to get out somewhere. A simple breather works fine. I never ran one on my 427 but I ran two breather caps on my valve covers, the old '50's cars didn't have one, just a breather vent and down tube at the back of the block.
