Nope. You don't need one unless you're pushing 2000 continuous watts. I'm only pushing about 1200 continuous watts.

I think I'm going to stay with my single mid pipe. I might upgrade to a 2.5" or 2.75 mid pipe for more flow but I've basically thrown the idea of true duals out the window.

To be honest you dont want true duals on your 3.4.. Sounds nice when it is sitting still but not so great runnig down the street.. I have a 94 3.4 camaro with true duals.. I might get 18mpg on hwy.. Not worth it.. Will be replacing soon..

Exhaust won't cost you to lose 10mpg on highway. Just sayin. You have something else wrong. Guarantee it!

If anything it'd improve mpg's. The more you breathe in and the more you shove out, the more efficient the car is, usually.

I installed my a-arm bushings and headers yesterday. Started at 10:00am and had the car on the road at 4:00am the next morning lol. There is NO room in the v6 bay to work on headers. And before you v6 haters tell me they're easier than doing lt or ls headers, the guy helping me owns a 93 z28 that runs mid 12's and he said my headers were a royal pain in the *** compared to his. He almost gave up helping me lol. It was a PITA!!! Then on my way home my clutch freaked out and now the pedal is stiff and it won't disengage... Great. I install headers and control arm bushings and then my clutch locks up. Thank you Camaro for being a royal pain in my a$$ this weekend!

Did you go from the top or from the bottom for the headers? Bottom is easier in my opinion...at least it was for the LT1.
