Did you go from the top or from the bottom for the headers? Bottom is easier in my opinion...at least it was for the LT1.
putting the headers in wasn't a big deal. Getting the old stuff out was the problem. between the two of us we wasted probably 3 hours on two bolts.. Gotta love 18 years of rust on stuff.
The passenger side header dropped in from the top and the drivers side pushed up through the bottom once the oil pressure sending unit and slave cylinder were removed.
