93-97 camaro v6 ls swap

Quite a few threads on it,I think you'll find it's a pretty big headache to try but anything is possible.
The best way and to save a lot of hassle and money is to save your pennies up then sell your V-6 car and buy and LS powered car.

One of your bigger issues will be the PCM. The 96 and 97 will not be as hard but the pre 1995 is OBD instead of OBD2. Since all LS style motors are OBD2 getting the PCM to work with older tech is going to require some skill.
Here is a good example of putting a 5.3 in a new 98-2002 V6

If you read that you will see it is not cheap. It would be a lot cheaper to find a LS1 car will a blown motor and swap that. It would be a direct bolt in. By the time you get a PCM/ harness /trans and Kframe you pretty much paid for LS roller.
You could use the truck PCM as a stand alone system but the PCM drives the entire dash cluster. Building a custom gage cluster can be very pricey.
