Doood! I feel you, just put a rack and pinion in my V6, it wasn't bad, since the engine doesn't cover the rnp, but they are $220 from the parts store! They need to come with a disclaimer "breaks so often you should just get the V8/manual so at least its worth all that work"

I'm still working on the front alignment. i think the idiot that worked on this before (not me)messed it up. got the new shift cable installed, getting the rubber cable seal in was the hardest part, found it best if you pushed the rubber seal/grommet through sideways then pull the outer half back through.

a little over 60lbs of oil pressure with 5-30w mobil 1, lots of power for a 6, breaks the one wheel wonder lose to easy, gona need a posi. temp runs between 200 and 210 on the gauge. got a trouble code for 155 and 135, i am hoping its caused by running it without 02s plugged in a while back. cleared codes and waiting to see it they come back. maybe because of new headers burning off coating, have new 02s to install after a while.

Pretty sure that was my exact comment in my 3800 build, I just took a new job that is a longer commute I might have to revert back to a 3800 5 speed for the MPG. I might finish of the LT1 6 speed and give it a try, I have been told stock they could hit 30 MPG.
