Stop by I'll tack it up for you. I have been welding for two days now. Its only three hours on a holiday. Really the same thing happened to me on my pickup about a month after getting back from the exhaust shop. The bolt the used for the hanger came out.

looking at getting tint in the next week or two...what do you guys recommend, 15% or 20%? There's a place in Dearborn Heights I'm looking at to get the work done, they haven't gotten back to me with a quote yet.

eh, how would it look with mismatching tint? And about how dark are the t-tops percentage-wise? I don't want them to be lighter than the rest of the windows.

I have no idea how dak the Ts are. We (me and my buddies have tinted windows since we were 15) do it all the time. It keeps it legal. The dark back window makes the sides look darker than they are because there is no light passing through them. Then if the cops give you any crap, have them check it. We can go as dark as we want on the back and I believe its 15% on the sides. I'm not sure how it would be with the tops though. This is how my car will be done.

Having the back a different level tint than the sides wont look odd. If you had a car with two side windows and tinted them different levels it would look odd, but not back and sides. You also need to be sure what your local laws allow before tinting, as the ticket is steep, and they wont drop it until you remove the tint.

full tint on front side windows isn't legal in MI, but I live close to Detroit and see so many people with tinted front sides that I doubt it's enforced much at all. And in WI it's not supposed to be any darker than 35%, but I got pulled over with my old car (which had 15% I believe) and the cops didn't even notice.

In case you didn't see my other thread...I was at the store today, and when I walked out, I found my car like this. I was parked with a curb on the driver's side, so it couldn't have been hit there. I was in San Antonio to see my brother graduate from Basic Training from Thursday night to Sunday night, so my car was parked the whole time. It either got hit there or at work today.

And I'm not making accusations, but I noticed the front of this TrailBlazer parked outside my apartment:

Screw people who hit somebody else's car and WALKS AWAY. I'm glad 1) I didn't get the car painted yet and 2) I have full coverage.
