did some shopping today. 1.5/1.75" Lowering springs, $80

http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/parts-...g-springs.html

Mostly concerned about the oddball brand...thoughts?

Also, silver STB for $75:

And I was thinking of a cam being a ways off, but I found a brand new one on LS1tech for $150. Specs are 218 230 .495 .510 on 114. I really don't know all that much about cams or specs, so what do you guys think of this one? Is the price about right? Would this cam be good for my car? My goals are @ least 300 rwhp, summer DD with occasional trips to strip and/or autocross course.

And how about that sticky?

Just bought the strut tower brace, hopefully gonna pick up some used Summit 1-1.5" lowering springs on Friday. I can't wait until Thanksgiving break so I can do some work

You have a link to that camshaft? The specs seem good for the price, compared to the stock LT1 camshaft. Its pretty mild though, I think you might want to go with a more aggressive camshaft if you want 300 RWHP.

There wasn't much additional information given, just those specs. I've decided to wait until next year to start looking for a cam anyway (granted I don't blow a head gasket or something between now and then). I plan starting my research over Christmas break, then going from there.

If you want 300 RWHP, you should probably go with better flowing cylinder heads. Oh also, learn how to read camshaft specs. You're going to have to in order to know which camshaft you really want.

yeah, that's part of the research I'll be doing haha. There are a couple of really good info stickies on LS1tech that I'll be reading over a lot.

Haha, I'm not really interested in and don't know much about V6 builds, but I am curious as to how people make them powerful. I do know that a turbo V6 is going to be expensive. Go with dual M90's bro!
