SS impostor!
Impossible to be properly badged -- the SS hood is the biggest badge.

I think Halos are definitely the way to go. They still have that OEM look, but it's a little different with the added halo in the middle. There's different options of the chrome or black housing. I chose black for mine. And personally, a monkey can install headlights. No need to have them professionally done. If I can do them, anyone can.

Uh yeah ok whatever. It's properly badged as an L36. I didn't put the scoop on, the car came with it. It's not something that can unbolt and come off easily. Unless you plan on paying for the work to fix the hood or buy me a new one. So spare me the SS imposter BS. That's why I PROPERLY badged it. I'm proud she's a 6. I don't hide it.
IF you get halos, ensure they are projectors for HID use now or at a later time. Which brings up the question: who has the best quality Projector/Halo housings for 98-02 4th Gens? No cheap plastic that is going to break easily, more of an OEM quality unit -- ANYONE?
That is the crux of the question. No cheap stuff for a Camaro.

Agreed! And if I had the money to have a hood painted to match my car, you better believe I would put an SS style hood on mine too! They just look awesome.
I just put in an order for these Anzo Halo projectors with LED's. They are D.O.T approved and seem to be squared away. I'm going to have them installed. They are pretty much plug and play but the LED's and Halos have to be spliced into the Headlights and parking lights..
The Mod shop I went to said he could have them programmed a few different ways such as having the LED's active with the daytime running lights, or have the Halo's on continuously.
I'm going to opt for LED'S on with the running lights(ambers).
I was going to include HID's but was advised that HID's were just more intense bulbs that required transformers due to the amount of power they use. I decided against it.
