Default Z28 Headlights

Hello all. I have a 1999 Z28 and the headlamps are cloudy. I have tried every kind of polish and detailer to clean them but age is definitely a factor. I have been thinking of purchasing after market XENON HID Projector headlights with the cat eyes. I looked online and their are literally thousands to choose from. I will have them professionally installed. I think they will look great but I don't want it to be cheesy or gangster. I want to maintain its integrity and give off a classy look and I'm sure it will add a bit of a modern edge. Any suggestions? Thank you

I think Halos are definitely the way to go. They still have that OEM look, but it's a little different with the added halo in the middle. There's different options of the chrome or black housing. I chose black for mine. And personally, a monkey can install headlights. No need to have them professionally done. If I can do them, anyone can.

Here's my girl

Wow..very impressive and exactly the look I was thinking about. Thanks for the response. Were the prices reasonable?

As for the Monkey being able to do it...I just dont want to mess it up. I know you have to make sure the lights are level and positioned right to illuminate the road properly.

You bolt them in and adjust them with a screw driver. It's honestly not hard to do. Wait til it's dark and pull in front of a closed garage door or a wall. Unless you're getting them installed for free, don't waste the money and learn to do it yourself.

As for prices, they vary. Mine were free because I got them as an early bday gift. But I think they were like $120-$150 on ebay. The projectors are usually a little more expensive. I don't like the look of projectors, they look too buggy to me. That's why I went with Halos. There's different packages of headlights on ebay too. Some offer the headlights with smoked parking lights. I personally loved the dark parking light look. My car already had them when I bought her, so the headlights really complimented them. I haven't had any problems so far with the headlights leaking or cracking or anything. The only issue I had was a fitment issue, but they fit fine now. That's an issue you might run in to with any aftermarket part though. They just might not fit 100% correctly.

Shipping included? Probably $150. Here's a link. Ebay's legit

Haha you submitted an answer to his question at the same time I did. And we both got the same price range. Lovely lol

IF you get halos, ensure they are projectors for HID use now or at a later time. Which brings up the question: who has the best quality Projector/Halo housings for 98-02 4th Gens? No cheap plastic that is going to break easily, more of an OEM quality unit -- ANYONE?
