Default Headlights out!

My headlights went out tonight. I checked the fuses in the 2 fuse boxes that i know of, but the funny thing is my brights as well as my parking lights still work. Now i would just assume that the bulbs were bad, however they both dont work so i find that somewhat unlikely. Any help or suggestions would be awesome or if anybody knows where another fuse box is at that would also be helpful.

Default RE: Headlights out!

There is a fusible link #2 that feeds the headlight switch. The switch contains a circuit breaker which is part of the switch (there are no fuses involved). From the circuit breaker power goes to the low beam lamps and to the high beam switch. Since the brights are working off the same breaker as the low beams, I suspect a wiring probably at splice #151 or that both bulbs died. Since right & left use different ground connections, one on each side of the "T" bar in front of the radiator, the grounding should be good unless the "T" bar bolts are loose.
