Default What would cause my wipers to go up and stay up when I turn them off?

On my camaro when I turn my wipers off they go up and not down. I took it to get it looked at and they said they never seen anything like that and they don't know. It happened on a heavy rain storm. I was using them and then I went to shut them off and they would go down then pop up and stay up. When im not using them I have to push them down and take the fuse out which is kind of a pain. I'm thinking maybe the arm got bent a little so its confused. Or a Sensor or something got wet?

there IS a sensor in there.... it tells the computer if the wipers are down "far enough". if you notice, when working normally you can turn them off near the bottom and they freeze, or if you are too high it will position them down for you.

so id say that sensor is messed up some how.... but im not sure how lol. sorry i cant be more help. id try to locate that sensor and see whats up (may just be a part of the motor itself)

your parking relay isnt grounding the circuit to allow the motor to bring the wipers back down.

Default Final solution? Wipers not docking.

I'm having the same problem with my wipers. They are no longer retreating to their docking position when they are off. Were you able to get everything resoloved? If so, how? THANKS AND MERRY CHRISTMAS!
