Fans dont turn on unless you turn the AC on

What could be the problem? Its a 96 lt1.

What temp is your gauge getting up to, is the engine close to overheating?

New thermo, coolant flushed multiple times, this is the 3rd time overheating and the 2nd engine in this f
F$&-;& car! No one knows whats going on!

How hot is the car getting? The fans turn on at 226 and 235.

Hey guys,

Don't crucify me for asking, but have you hade the heads off of the block for any reason?

Keep in mind that while overhauling the LT-1 all actions are based on the old small block chevy rebuild rules.
