vats module

Default vats module

I did a vats bypass last march and everything has been working ok.
Today car will not start gage lights come on security lights comes on and stay on. I checked resistance on vats module bypass read 1135. I checked key resistance read 1137. Not sure what to do next. Anybody have any suggestions?

The VATS bypass only bypasses the pellet on the key. If the module itself goes bad, or the wiring goes badit could prevent the car from starting.

How do you check for bad vats module? If vats module is bad what do you do?

Probably best left to a dealer, because a new VATS module needs to be programmed. The other option is to reprogram the PCM and delete the VATS option.

Thanks for help.I think I like the option of reprograming pcm.
Do you have any information were this can be done?
