Default V.a.t.s eletrical issue please help

Ok so apparently if you press the electric door lock switch on my car it causes V.A.T.S problems. So I went to start the car and all it did was make a clicking sound, security light on dash and gauge cluster was on, and the lower kick panel on drivers side was making a ticking noise.
So after playing with it when I unplugged the battery and re connected it now the car starts but it seems like it might be in limp mode or some crap so I have the battery unplugged rite now... please help me

Ok well fudge me, I just went and drove the car and I think the vats problem is gone but the car is running kinda ****ty, and every time I come to a stop my oil pressure gauge drops down all the way and my check gauges light comes on... then as soon as I start moving light goes off and oil pressure goes up.

Sounds to me like you need to hook up a oil pressure guage to get an accurate reading. Also scan for codes.

first check your oil level make sure its ok. is the engine making any funny noises? clean your batter terminals and cable ends. bad connection can mess things up with low voltage. check grounds, you have one under the kick panel on the driver side. also a fuel pump relay under there
