Default Comp cam specs

I just bought a 1997 Z28 Camaro and It has a K&N CAI, magnaflow exhaust, mild comp cam, and a comp valvetrain. So I was wondering if this is a good cam, and if I could get a part number for it or whats the cam called so that I can research about it, thanks.

Anyways here are the specs for the COMP cam
47-468-8: 113 lobe separation and 1000-5000 rpm range
The lift is .546 exhaust and .550 intake with 1.6 rockers.

that 468 number does not match up with any cams with 546/550 lift. it looks almost stock. heres a 464, COMP Cams 12-464-8 Comp Cams ''XFI'' (Xtreme Fuel Injection) Hydraulic Roller Camshafts - Free Shipping on All Orders @ JEGS
have a look at what elliotts has LT1 Cam Info «

So that cam isn't much of an upgrade? Because I raced a 2009 Shelby gt mustang today and It was a even race until I hit 4th gear then he pulled away slowly.
We raced like 3-4 times each time around a 65-125mph run

it looks to be a low end cam with 113 overlap to give it a choppy idle. still with the add on s you have you should be pulling over 300. does it have a tune and if so by who?

No the last owner said it doesn't have a tune. Which im guessing that's like a chip or where you reprogram the ecu/ecm to deliver more fuel/air or something?

Soooo a 464 comp cam with 1.6 rockers isn't much if any better then stock cam setup? Is it close to what a lt4 cam upgrade would add hp/tq wise?

do you have the duration. 93-95 f bodies had 202/207 @ .050" .450/.460 lift 116 LSA so it is more, lt4 hot cam is 218/226 stock rocker-.492 .492, 1.6 rocker-.525 .525 112

I posted the only specs I know... So do you think with a set of LT headers that my car will be close to 300hp at the crank?

with headers and a tune you should be over 300 at the wheels.
