Just break down and spend three bucks on a deep well socket. And get a six-point, not a twelve point. Six point sockets hug the sides of a bolt, whereas a twelve point only grabs by the corners and are more likely to round out the bolt. Use a propane torch, heat the **** out of it, and soak it with penetrating oil (PB Blaster works better than WD-40 btw). An impact wrench sure would do wonders too. Just watch out for forest fires!!!
