Is there any good reason to upgrade to these over the stock manifold? Is it worth the $250 investment?

Depends on what you consider to be worth it. Will they give you some more power? Yeah, a bit, but you really should get a tune after doing them to get the biggest gain you can. Also, I wouldn't ever get painted headers, ceramic coating is at least the minimum which Pacesetter should offer for their midlengths.
