This is a really stupid question, I'm sure. What do you mean by "Shim the rear rims"?

i was going to ask the same thing chaotic...

You think it would be better to do the 17's or easier i guess?

The rear rims will rub the inside of the wheel well if you dont. My friend had to use 1/4 shims to keep the rubbing down.

Did you?? You don't have to do that with 17"s do you?

I have 17x9.5" rims and I had to fold the forward lower lip of the wheel well in a little as a precaution to rubbing. There was a 1/2" of clearance.

How would you go about folding the lower lip?

Very nice ride massey!! every time i look at this thread i want to keep adding things to my camaro..

Another name for the wheel shims is wheel spacers. You can order them from advance auto or any other auto parts store.

And milkshakeman, he means by rolling the fenders. I will have to do this soon because my tires rub bad! Here's a link I found about rolling fenders.

Oh and Massey, I took your idea of painting the hub part of the rotors on my Z, if you don't mind lol your's came out AWESOME so I tried the same.
