Sarah's Story. My 99 Camaro build log.
Yes I have noticed a trend now with people here painting the rotors, LOL its all good and yes it makes the car look alot better.
I didnt have to roll the wheel lip on the qtr any, and neither did my friend it all fit in the wheel wells but it hit the inside of the wheel well. I just took a hammer and bent the metal inwards a little to prevent any future rubbing. If you lose any of the paint or undercoating then just give it a quick hit with some paint or rubberized undercoating again and you are all good.

Ya sure that was needed due to your rims, or do you have sagging springs, deteriorating bumpstops or worn shocks? Just some other ideas...
My suspension is still in good shape but I wanted to move the metal as an insurance for the tire.
I have been waiting on a good day to get some photos of the car right after a fresh wash. That has not happened since I have put the rims on. It is coming soon.

Ok so I put this post in the wrong thread last time. Let's try this again. Now it's in Massey's build thread! Hahaha
Check this out. I was driving on this road today. I couldn't help but stop and get a picture of the road sign lol

Just wanted to say that the patience and hard work turned out nice. I follow you thread and think your one of the guys on here that make this site awesome with the advice and insight you give. I'm patiently saving money for the 3.8 FWD switch to RWD conversion on my 99. Commission sales jobs are tough in this economy, and every penny counts. When having the inside edge from people that have saved hundreds on simple short cuts means all the world, so thanks again.
Massey,
First let me start by saying Sarah is really coming along. Keep up the good work.
Now, I know I'm going back like 4pgs in your thread but I am curious to know what you used to clean up your calipers before you painted them? I would like to paint mine as well. I was wondering if I could use the left over Dupli Color I have and if not what type of paint is best?
