So I got my brand new used rearend its a v6 rear (93-97 non RS *drums*) from a auto tranns?

well i know the v8s had 2.73,3.23.3.42. But those still seem high gears for a v6

 

3.08 would be them.

 

y is that high for a v6? why would a lower power motor was a lower mechanical advantage over the rear?

the was should be "want" u listed 2.73 as too big for a v6...... i dont know of ANY cars that have a lower final drive.....

2.73=high way gears.

Ill hopefully messing with my brand new used rear end sunday. And ill find out what gears I got vs the ones in the other rear.
