This thread definitely has some of the problems currently that my car has, so i'm subscribing
I sometimes hear/feel a bump too when I turn into my driveway(It has a small drop if that has anything to do with it) And when I backed out the other day I heard a grinding noise on the left side on the bottom of my car and that's never good. I panicked and looked at the bottom of the car. Nothing. I was confused but kept going about my business. Any ideas?

Since your motor is pretty much toast, why don't you "shop" for a Camaro the same age as yours. Find one, take it for a "test drive". See what a healthy motor can do. Your needs may not be as great as you fear. Add bolt ons and a tune to the mix and you might have the advantage you seek. I'm not saying to ditch the "Boner" but see if a good running stocker comes close to your needs. Then you can plan the future build.

OK, this is where someone says somethinbg about champaigne tastes & a beer budget.
The Edelbrock supercharger is making 500 RWHP with no bottom-end mods. That is a 60% power increase.
The chances that you will drive your 'maro for another 100K miles is slim to none. You will either lose interest or decide to go a different direction.
If it were me:
1. sell the LQ4, too much to do to make it work
2. buy a crate motor that is a direct replacement for your motor
3. buy the Edelbrock supercharger and have it installed
