yeah thats pretty good dude, specially at the wheels. You auto or manual?? what type of dyno?

I wouldn't get too hooked up on dyno numbers, they all vary
best test is your 1/4 mile time

MotorTrend dyno'd a stock 2002 SS, but their #s seem low, since a stock 2001+ should be higher than your 2000 (with the cam change and LS6 intake starting in 2001)...

Max hp/rpm 268.4/4400
Max torque/rpm 280.8/4200

Depending on your drive train, that equates to be between 336-357 h.p. at the crank. Crankshaft h.p. is how the factory rates engines.
So...not too shabby!

Hp Tuners is the best tuning quality you can get for your money! It's easy and you can do anything with it! I'm saving up some money for it right now!

Motortrend is also the devil. I wouldn't listen to any thing they report what so ever. With that being said that's probably the lowest dyno i have ever seen from any LS1 engine by a lot. The average T56 LS1 will dyno right around 290-300 at the rear wheels bone stock and should be around 310 torque. Even A4 guys will normally dyno 285 plus with no problems. Also peak horsepower should be made well over 5200 RPM's not at 4400 so that raises a question right there. Plus i would expect peak torque to be made much lower as well. But hey what do i know.

It sounds like your O2 or MAF may be on its way out if you are running lean on a stock car. I am betting if you figure out which one is giving you problems and replace it you would have probably seen closs to 300 at the wheels.

If you look at the dyno you will see peak torque is made at around 3300 and peak horse power is much hits right around 5300 way off from what motortrend reported. I dont know what motortrend was dynoing but something sounds funny.
