Check the RPO codes for the SS to find out if it is a true SS THe RPO of WU8 will designate a true SS. I have been shopping around here for an SS for a while and I find alot of SS's that are not SS's. Remember WU8 on the door sticker, or if it is missing get the VIN and call a GM dealer for the truth.

Thanks again for all your input. I'm more interested in the SS based on the color and the old style lights. This purchase is more than likely be a weekend car or something to tinker on.
