till air quits coming out and or the temp is normal. sometimes it only takes once and sometimes it takes several times.

yes but when you run it if theres a pocket in there that works its way out then it may need it again. mine has worked first time for a few times that ive had it apart. and once it took three times.

Yeah i agree it's either no dipstick tube at all or the old one broke off and they could or would not get it out and replace it. I had the one in the 403 break off and had to drop the pan cause the break was so flush to the block. hope for your sake it is just not in there or something

Yeah the whole dipstick tube is not there. Why would someone take it out? Doesn't make sence
