Exactly as Stig said, I don't ever let the clutch all the way out unless I'm looking to really go fast. Just let it out halfway, just enough to get the car moving, then put the clutch in and let the momentum take you. I actually cover the brake while it's backing up. Couple of little "pulses" and you're good to go forward. I just copied Stigs post
