i have a 95 v6 3.8 and i was wondering if i just got a magnaflow or flowmaster muffler would that give me some better sound or would i need the whole exhaust system and headers??? also what would yor reccomend magnaflow or flowmasters???

 

Changing out the muffler will change the sound some. As for which sounds better, I would suggest watching Youtube clips, as not much sounds good on a 3.8.

 

yeah my buddies 3.4 has an edelbrock muffler and it sounds great!i have not heard many great sounding 3.8s myself.But if youre just after the sound i would just change out the muffler.
