Default Flowmasters on 3.1L V6?

Before I start, I want to clarify that this car is not currently performance-oriented. I'm simply looking for a more aggressive sound than the bone-stock system that is in place now.

I have a 1991 Camaro RS (V6 3.1L with no real performance mods)

Basically, I'm looking to put a flowmaster muffler in, as well as new tailpipes and tips. I recently got a quote for a setup that I can afford, but I'm curious as to whether it will sound alright. I don't want to ruin this car by making it sound like a rattling ricermobile, and I want to know if the V6 pushes enough power to give it a humble roar?

If it doesn't, are there any (affordable) modifications I can do to the car to make it work? I know most of you will say "swap it with a v8," but I don't have the time, money, or resources to do that. (not to mention, this engine only has 36k miles on it) If I hit the lottery, I'll be sure to put a crate Z06 in though.

So to sum up, Flowmasters on a 91 Camaro RS with a 3.1L V6? Yes or no?

Thanks in advance for your opinions. If you need any more information, I'd be happy to provide it.

My advice is search youtube for 91 v6 flowmaster or something and see if you like the videos. I don't know how different it is but I've heard some mean 4th gen v6's with flowmasters.

i've got the flowmasters on my 3.4 with a moroso cold air intake. The intake honestly helps give a little more aggressive sound also. So yes, Flowmasters with a cold air intake will sound like you want. No v8, but it will fool alot of ppl. Ppl dont believe me even after i say it's a v6, just because it idles so good.

it will sound more then a v-6. I have a 2.8L v-6 and i got a dual extended flowmaster and everyone thinks it is a v-8 even people who know cars.
