Default Flowmasters

So apparently on the camaro I am purchasing- the only mod it has on it is flowmaster 80 series I belive- I had someone tell me that flowmasters restricts horsepower- can someone verify this or what? I googled- but didnt see anything...

It was acutally funny, cause I was like "ohhh thats why it sounded so good when I listened to it" but I dont want a loss in hp or tq yah know?

Flowmasters certainly don't restrict airflow or horsepower... however, they will not allow as much air flow as Magnaflow or many other aftermarket exhaust setups.

people buy flowmaster cause they are cheap and sound good, how ever they are one of the worst flowing mufflers, except for their race mufflers actually flow good
