Default Just bought my first camaro

So my neighbor is a total gear head &I have seen him working on this car for years. He's moving (from Hawaii) so he sold it to me for 4000 (great deal right?). I'm completely new to camaro's and have no idea where to start.

1. It's flat black right now on 30th anniversary rims...I'm thinking of either black on black, red on black, or red on chrome. Could you guys post some pictures if you have any of these?

2. The interior is the old ugly cloth and carpet. Any suggestions on how to upgrade it? I'd like to make everything inside black (carpet, seats, dash, etc). Does anyone know of any websites for these things?

3. The monsoon stereo still sounds okay, but I'm looking for a legit sound system. Any recommendations? What are the speaker sizes? Is there enough room for a touch screen/dvd style monitor?

4. There are projection headlights on it, but the lights still look like factory. How do I get the bright white lights like bmw's, audi's, etc?

Probably way too many questions sorry! I'm planning on putting a lot of time and money into this and don't want to make any bad decisions.

Thanks!

Oh I'm sorry! I thought I set up my signature with it, but apparently it didn't work. It's a 2001 camaro Z28.

color is owner option, lol, check the 4th gen picture thread, some good pictures in there. the seats can be had on ebabe or cragslisst or you can have them redone in whatever you like. carpet is same. i like crutchfield for music. you can enter your make model and yr and they tell you what fits. also if you dont like what you get you can return for like 3 or 4 weeks. i went through three amps before i got one i liked. the lights on the later 4th gens are bulbs and are changed much easier than the lt 4th gens. should be able to find what you want on the net.

3. Get a headunit of your choice, I'd recommend Kenwood or Alpine. Door speakers are 6.5" as well as back speakers..hatch speakers are 4" with a tweeter I believe, but they measure 5x10 back there (so use your imagination).

the monsoon sound system is a clusterf*ck when your trying to upgrade. you are better off rewiring it unless you know a little about wiring you can tap into the factory amp and make it sound killer but you will need a good wiring diagram.

as far as lighting, HID's are your ticket, super easy to install and look great if you get the right temp lights.

get rid of those projector garbage lights.

you can get new carpet from just about anywhere just do a quick google search.

and concerning the seats, well every once in a while i see full leather seats pop up on CL but your lookin at spending $500-800 just for the seats
