I installed the aftermarket viper alarm but it couldn't work because the factory alarm wouldn't let it, and they couldn't disable it... My question is, how to disable the factory alarm?
I couldn't use the factory alarm anymore because the control no longer worked, I tried to program as mentioned but it didn't work again. Can another factory alarm be installed in the car? What is needed?

 

I think your able to have it tuned out by a tuner. give a call to a tuner and see what they can do. be a good time to have it tuned for your likes.

 

Good luck with factory parts,it seems everything is obsolete on 4th gen cars,GM no longer supports them.
