Default help with 1994 camaro

I have a problem with my heat. I have a 1994 Camaro and my heat only works when I Let my car run sitting. when I drive it blows cold air, but I when I let my car sit the temperature gauge rises like the car is about to overheat and then the fan cuts on. Can someone please help me figure out this problem. If you need more detail can you please post it. Thank You all.

sure sounds like your heater core could use a good flushing. some of the guys have taken the hoses lose at the heater core connections on the firewall and run some water through it using a garden hose. dont open it up all the way the core is only rated to about 25 lbs pressure. heres some stuff i have on the heater system.
