Hi removed front struts:
1-broke the sway bar end rod, any recommendations or are they all about the same?

2-upper ball joint bushing is worn, is it easy to get the control arm off? see photo

3-should i bother with the lower ball joint or do you need special tools to get that off.

4- upper strut plate insulator is old but not worn, they are about $17 on Rock auto, worthwhile ? see photo

 

if your lookin at getting a sway bar anyways look at strano's rear front sets. like mine.
no not easy to get off and a pita to change.
lower ball joint is the ones that fail first and most. not easy to change, i had shop do mine.
yes replace and when putting back together grease the heck outa it. once its covered they rust as you can see so lots of grease will prevent
