IMO, save your money for the full system. I wanted an exhaust really bad last summer but am very glad that I waited. I started saving, got my headers OBX stainless steel w/ ypipe, then a magnaflow dual out ss muffler, and a 3" high flow cat. I was able to get all my parts on ebay for a little under $500. Trust me it was a little frustrating seeing one part at a time in my closet but I was glad I was doing it the best way, and you get exactly what you want. When I had all my parts I saved a little longer and found a shop to install everything and do all the piping including 3" tips for $370.

That looks like a good price for just the catback.

What headers are you getting?

When it comes to headers for the V6 most of the ppl on here go with the Pacesetter armor coated. There's only two of us that on here that I know have OBX stainless steel headers.

I honestly couldn't tell you if they are better. I went with them b/c I preferred the fact that they were stainless steel and were actually about $20 cheaper then what I found the pacesetters for. I like the way the s/s changes color b/c of the heat.
I haven't had them on long and haven't been able to really open her up yet b/c of the harsh winter and all the snow we've gotten in NYC but so far I love my set up.
I was gonna get the pacesetters until I found the s/s OBX headers and have not heard anything bad about either. I think it comes down to personal preference. All the pics I've seen they look nearly identical in shape and size so they probably give off about the same flow.
The one thing I do know is if you go with the pacesetters get the armorcoated ones not the unfinished.
