Ok thanks so when it comes to catback's which one would you chose and which one would you prefer and why Magnaflow or Flowmaster? When it comes to headers are they simple to install is it like the Catback taht goes exactly where the stock should go?

Contact force fed fab they have a long tube header design for the v6. It made a massive amount of power increase for headers. The problem with high flow cats is that you have to tune out the after cat o2 sensor. And if you don't want to spend to much for exhaust get a z28 system. Find them used for cheap and they are 2.5 inch systems just like any aftermarket v6 exhaust system. I'd suggest save that $500 until you can put in a cai and full exhaust system at once.

I'd go with the Flowmaster on a V6 unless you can afford a Borla. The Magnaflow did not sound good on a V6, just my opinion.

i just meant restrictive, and causing the gasses to "back up" or slow down, but the point was that most of the time the gasses have cooled enough in the earlier parts of the exhaust system that the catback isnt typically the most restrictive part.
